Brian J. Clark is the financial consultant behind Alternative Strategies Insurance Solutions.  Based in Southern California, Brian has been helping clients with their wealth and helping financial advisors grow and improve their practices for more than 25 years.  As a former aerospace engineer, he brings a unique combination of technical expertise and analytical skills as well as real-world experience and practicality.

Brian holds the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor^SM from The College for Financial Planning®, and he views his role as a financial professional simply as this: Take care of the client’s needs in everything we do, and the rest will take care of itself.

For the past ten years, Brian’s experience has been focused on alternative investments and strategies, and the value they can bring to an investment portfolio through their non-correlation to the primary investment markets.  Brian was especially attracted to the alternative investment opportunity provided by life settlement investments, as they represent the ultimate expression of what an investor seeks when considering exposure to Alternatives in their asset allocation.  Additionally, Brian knows how important reducing taxes and minimizing losses are to a portfolio, and thus, Alternative Strategies Insurance Solutions was born to help solve those problems.

Brian graduated from UCLA with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and has held numerous leadership positions with such firms as Boeing, ING (Voya), AXA and Nationwide Financial.  He has written multiple articles for California Broker Magazine and frequently speaks all over California to both clients and advisors. He is registered as an instructor for Continuing Education with the California Department of Insurance and teaches classes on Fractional Life Settlement Investing to other financial advisors in the state.
